IOLLA’s new spring collection has landed

Do you ever feel financially punished for having bad eyesight? I do. I mean, it ain’t easy putting on a full face of makeup when you can’t see the length of your own arm and just to add insult to injury we’re charged a small fortune for a pair of specs. Seriously though – can you take out a mortgage for eyewear?

Anyway, it’s time to stop paying through the roof for your glasses AND its time to up your speccy game, ’causeĀ IOLLA have opened their doors in Edinburgh. And to put it bluntly, their new collection is COOL AF. You’re gonna want to see it (through your new pair of glasses, AM I RIGHT?)

IOLLA, the Scottish glasses retailer has since opened its second showroom. Situated in the heart of Stockbridge, the store is easy to locate as well as being surrounded by some of the best of Edinburgh’s food spots – new glasses and full bellies all around, thanks.

So as if their huge collection of frames wasn’t cool enough already, here’s the concept behind the brand:

“By cutting out unnecessary costs, designing glasses in house and partnering straight with the factories we are able to provide higher-quality, better-looking eyewear at a fraction of the current price.”

Thank the bloomin’ eyesight gods for that right?

Obviously, being the sucker for trendy frames that I am, I marched straight down to choose my own pair. I went for the Murray Sun in the brand new colour for Spring 2018 – navy blue. And Hello, I’mĀ obsessed. If it were socially acceptable to wear sunglasses indoors, I’d be sitting at my desk bashing away at the keyboard with them on right now. Not even joking. Actually, is that sun streaming through the window a bit bright? Maybe if I just open the blinds a bit more…

The brand’s new Spring collection is now available in the Edinburgh showroom too, so be sure to pop by and choose your own!

Hello! I'm a pint-sized marketing graduate in Edinburgh. I spend too much time scrolling through Instagram, drinking copious amounts of coffee and thinking about what colour of lipstick works best with my outfit.
