Wow, it’s seriously felt like (ahem, has been) a very long time since I last sat down and battered away at the keyboard here on my blog. I found myself stuck in a fashion rut, probably partly due to the dull and cold Scottish weather, and also the fact that my wifi here on the old cobbled streets of Edinburgh makes uploading VERY difficult.

Anyway, I’m here, I’m back, and I’m ready to share the three springtime looks that have inspired me to leave the grey months behind. Also, I bagged this faux suede jacket, which is totally not my usual style, so I thought it was a perfect reason to experiment and share!

My initial thoughts on short jackets is that they’re quite difficult to wear. I’m so accustomed to wearing coats that cover my bum, so something that sits at hip level is a lil’ on the risqué side. However, after pairing this one with a midi skirt, dress, and jeans, I bit the bullet and ripped off that tag.

So, here’s how I’ve been wearing my short suede jacket for Spring. Be sure to let me know which look you like the most!

Hello! I'm a pint-sized marketing graduate in Edinburgh. I spend too much time scrolling through Instagram, drinking copious amounts of coffee and thinking about what colour of lipstick works best with my outfit.
