jord5jord1Sunday mornings are my absolute favourite. I’ve got a little routine going on, which usually starts with some laptop time in bed before an energising workout at the gym, followed by coffee and brunch at one of Edinburgh’s cute cafés. Admittedly, I’ve often been guilting of running into Starbucks and grabbing an Americano to go, but recently I’ve set myself a goal to try out a different brunch spot every Sunday. After all, Edinburgh is brunch heaven.

jord3I often take my laptop and notebook with me to browse my favourite blogs, scroll through the ‘new in’ section of ASOS, and scribble down some ideas and thoughts. I also find it relaxing watching people come and go, spying on girls with cute shoes as I sip on my coffee. This Sunday Euan and I popped into Wellington Coffee, a little basement café with the tastiest looking pastries and scones.

jord10Or sometimes I might stick my phone in my bag, close my laptop, and have an actual conversation with Euan, or whoever I might be with. I mean, free WIFI is a wonderful thing, but sometimes we’re guilty of forgetting to switch off and interacting with real life human beings (or is that just me?)

Not only are Sundays for coffee, croissants, and conversations, but they’re also for comfortable clothes (hell yeah). I pretty much live in breton stripes and denim every weekend, particularly my fav dungarees, this slouchy strip top and simple accessories like this unique wood watch from JORD. It’s very different from my usual go-to black leather strap and a gold face, and whilst i’m kicking my Starbucks habit, I thought it would be good time to switch up some other things too – starting with my watches.

Not only do they look amazing, but these watches are of impeccable quality, and the wood totally smells great when you open that box. Thanks to the lovely guys over at JORD, you can choose your own watch with a whole $25 discount here, as well as the chance to win a $100 gift voucher. You can also shop my exact watch here.

I hope everyone has a relaxing and productive Sunday!

Hello! I'm a pint-sized marketing graduate in Edinburgh. I spend too much time scrolling through Instagram, drinking copious amounts of coffee and thinking about what colour of lipstick works best with my outfit.

  1. I absolutely loved Edinburgh when I visited in December, and hope to return in May. Any recommendations/names for any of the little cafes you’ve been to recently? 🙂
