Okay, I won’t lie, I do love an awkward-length garment and I’m fully embracing all things midi, from boots to dresses (even my hairs at that awkward not quite a bob anymore stage). I steered clear of boots that came too high above my ankle in fear that they made my legs look shorter (which they probably do but WHATEVER) until I couldn’t resist these velvet beauties for much longer. They’re even square toe instead of pointed – I don’t even know who I am anymore?!

I layered my midi dress over a camel turtle neck because lets face it, its bloody freezing and probably not dress weather. But its okay, because layering is my favourite thing (until you take it too far and resemble the Michelin Man/ a giant marshmallow).
